Are you passionate about food quality and safety? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your expertise can make a significant impact? We are looking for a dedicated Senior Specification Technologist to contribute to our client's commitment to excellence in the food industry.

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Technical Compliance & Customer Manager, collaborating with various departments to enhance and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS). Your efforts will be key in New Product Development (NPD), Existing Product Development (EPD), and managing Customer Specification Systems for both product packaging and raw materials.

What You'll Do:

-              Ensure Quality & Compliance: Support external audits by ensuring complete traceability from supplier to end customer and assist in GMP hygiene and internal audits.

-              Collaborate & Coordinate: Work closely with our Food Technologist, Specification Technologist, and other teams to manage risk assessments, specifications for raw materials, and supplier compliance.

-              Database & Portal Management: Maintain the raw material supplier database and keep customer portals accurate and up to date with relevant information.

-              Supplier Engagement: Organize and conduct supplier visits, ensure all suppliers meet approval status, and foster strong supplier relationships.

-              Product & Ingredient Oversight: Develop and maintain product specifications, assess ingredient suitability and compliance, and manage related systems and databases.

-              Audit & Crisis Management: Participate in internal audits and assist in capturing and coordinating responses during food safety alerts.

-              Deep understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
