Job Advert: Temporary Finance Assistant

Macildowie is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a well-established business in Loughborough to recruit a diligent and detail-oriented Temporary Finance Assistant. This position is for a minimum duration of 3 months, with the potential for extension based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Matching purchase orders (POs) to invoices and ensuring accurate processing
• Handling the processing of invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments
• Managing company credit card transactions and reconciliations
• Conducting regular payment runs and ensuring all payments are processed correctly
• Addressing and resolving supplier queries promptly and professionally
• Responding to customer queries with a focus on excellent customer service
• Raising and issuing invoices in a timely manner
• Assisting with any other ad-hoc finance duties as required

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar finance role is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
