Ling Term Futures is currently working alongside a Secondary School based in Coventry who are looking to appoint a cover supervisor to start September, for a long-term contract covering until July 2025. The right candidate will support the school by covering teacher absences throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Providing general support to the school and its pupils
• Supervise and lead classes under guidance and instructions set by the teacher
• Communicate with the teacher, providing feedback and updates on student progression and behaviour
• Maintain effective classroom management, ensuring that behaviour is in line with school expectations
• Be motivated and ambitious with a goal to support children to reach their full potential
• Attending weekly CPD sessions within school training programme

Candidate Requirements:

• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience within a secondary school setting
• A passion for supporting students to learn and develop
• Experience as a cover supervisor is desirable, however experienced teaching assistant's are encouraged to apply
