We are representing a respected inner-city Church of England girls' school, we are excited to offer this opportunity.

The school seeks a dedicated Sociology Teacher and Criminology Teacher to join their team and make a significant impact on students' lives.

Teach at least one Social Science subject at Key Stage 5 under the direction of the Head of Department.

General Responsibilities:

Carry out supervisory duties according to published rosters.

Engage in extra-curricular activities and celebrations like After School Clubs and Awards Evening.
Selection Criteria - Essential:

Honours degree in a relevant discipline.
PGCE or equivalent post-16 teaching qualification.
Experience teaching KS5 Social Science subjects.
Enthusiasm for Social Science subjects and the ability to inspire A-level students.
Positive contribution to the department through collaborative planning.
Effective behaviour management skills.
Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
Desirable:

Ability or willingness to teach Criminology at KS5.
Experience teaching an additional subject.
Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities.
