Situated in a quiet area in the suburb of Crosspool in Sheffield, we provide Residential and Dementia care for 44-residents.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our well-established residential care home in Crosspool, Sheffield. Our home provides high-quality residential and dementia care for 44 residents across two floors, offering a warm, supportive, and compassionate environment.

Now, we are seeking a strong leader to work alongside the Home Manager, ensuring continued excellence in care and staff development.
What We Offer
- Salary up to £43,000 per annum (DOE) (up to £20.67 per hour)
- 40 hours per week, including a mix of supernumerary and care shifts
- Supernumerary shifts: 08:00 AM - 16:00 PM
- Care shifts: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
- Weekend working and occasional night shifts may be required

Your Role as Deputy Care Manager
As Deputy Care Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the home, working closely with the Home Manager to maintain high standards of care and compliance. You will:
- Lead, mentor, and support the care team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Oversee medication administration and audits, ensuring accuracy and best practices.
- Support the Home Manager in all aspects of daily operations, from compliance to staff development.
- Step up as Acting Home Manager when required, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- NVQ/SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or currently working towards it).
- Proven leadership experience in a residential care home setting.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and auditing.
- A motivational and supportive approach to developing staff.
- Confidence in stepping up as Acting Home Manager when needed.
