Wright Staff are currently looking for experienced HGV C (Class 2) drivers for new contract.

The opportunity - Wright Staff are proud to represent a large well known general haulage company located in Garrets Green.

Our client is looking for HGV C (Class 2) drivers to work on ongoing contracts throughout the year, supporting their current team.

The Job - The perfect candidate will be expected to drive HGV C (Class 2) vehicle with curtain side body and tale lift the trucks are all reasonably new and are kept in like new condition. Delivery is made using a pallet truck and tale lift on occasion, but mainly the load will be fork lifted off. There is hand ball on this job as you will be expected to unload at times,

On this job you can expect 5 to 10 drops per shift and will work in a similar area each day sometimes with only small variations, this is so that you can get to know the customer's and the localised area making the job easier as you get to know it.

Shift length can be long but are in keeping with the law and normal start times are between 05:00am & 07:00am in the morning.

Pay;

Monday to Friday

Days £14 per hour PAYE only

Night £15 per hour PAYE only

Weekend's & Bank holidays

All hours £17 per hour All hours PAYE only

** NO Limited company contractors **

You will require.

* UK HGV C (Class 2) driving licence, held for 2 years ideally.

* Valid UK CPC card

* Valid UK Digi Card

Minimum experience, training or qualifications required: Drivers must have their category C Licence with no more than 3 points with no TT's, IN's, TS, DR, or DD codes showing. You must have a valid UK Digi Card and Full CPC. They also must be physically fit and happy to deal with the public.
