Salary: £34,608 per annum (Professional Services Grade 9)

Job Type: Fixed Term MAT cover from December 2024 for 1 year

Full Time (37 hours per week/52 weeks per year)

MIS Manager - The Role:

Wiltshire College & University Centre is looking for a proactive Management Information Systems (MIS) Manager to join us on a fixed-term maternity cover. This is a key leadership role where you'll provide critical management information, support curriculum planning, and ensure the smooth running of data systems that underpin the success of the College.

MIS Manager - Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver customer-focused management information to support senior leadership decision-making and performance evaluation.

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of funding and data returns to external bodies.

• Lead the College's curriculum planning process, including performance indicators and success measures.

• Oversee learner information systems, ensuring they are efficient, accessible, and well-communicated to all staff.

• Act as a subject matter expert on funding for FE, HE, Apprenticeships, and other contracts, advising staff on financial implications.

• Regularly review MIS practices to enhance operational efficiency and the learner journey, utilising innovative technology.

• Manage and develop MIS teams to provide high-quality services and ensure the timely production of information.

• Monitor and report on bursary allocations, working closely with Finance to ensure fee compliance.

• Ensure MIS data meets audit requirements and compliance standards.

MIS Manager - You:

• A relevant Level 6 qualification (i.e. Business, IT, Administration, People Management etc) or to be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and

• Experience in MIS management in an educational environment.

• Expertise in FE, HE, and Apprenticeship funding.

• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills

• Ability to manage teams and deliver exceptional service.
