The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our team, covering London and the Home Counties. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of sites, providing high-quality maintenance and mechanical services in commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities:

* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and heating systems.

* Diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical equipment and systems.

* Performing inspections and testing to ensure mechanical systems are compliant with regulations and operating efficiently.

* Installing and commissioning new mechanical systems as required.

* Managing and prioritising workloads to meet service deadlines and client requirements.

* Maintaining accurate records of work completed, including service reports and timesheets.

* Adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring all work is completed in a safe manner.

* Responding to emergency call-outs and breakdowns as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a mobile role.

* Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and heating systems.

* Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.

* Experience with commercial and residential mechanical systems.

* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and the Home Counties.

* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

* Experience of selecting and installing a wide range of pipework types and systems

* Experience of working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

* Experience of working with pumps (DOL and inverter driven) and capable of
undertaking fault finding / repairs when necessary
