An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and detail-oriented Scientist to join a dynamic in vivo research team, working on groundbreaking projects in pre-clinical and clinical studies.

The Role

This position is ideal for a BSc or MSc graduate (or equivalent experience) with hands-on expertise in in vivo research or animal husbandry. Key responsibilities include:

* Animal care and welfare - primarily working with rodent models

* Dosing and sample collection in compliance with Home Office PIL regulations

* Monitoring health and well-being of animal models

* Designing and conducting in vivo experiments

* Assessing tumour growth in xenograft models

* Dissection and tissue collection for further laboratory analysis

* Accurate record-keeping to ensure compliance with Home Office regulations

* Managing multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with wider research teams

* Ensuring project milestones are met with high-quality results

We're looking for candidates with:

* A BSc or MSc in a biological discipline (or equivalent experience)

* 3+ years of experience in in vivo research or animal husbandry

* Hands-on experience with sample collection, euthanasia and surgery

* Experience working with in vivo disease models

* Ability to independently plan and execute experiments

* Home Office PIL A and B licence

* Experience in dosing techniques
