Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + discretionary bonus

Schedule: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday

The role of the Designer - Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:

* Designer position dealing with various roofing and cladding systems including: hot melt roofing, single-ply membranes, flat roofing, cladding, and rain screens

* Reviewing scopes of work and liaise with clients to gain an understanding of the projects

* Utilising AutoCAD and Revit to produce designs

* Work closely with internal departments providing support and resolving queries

* Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements

* Attend weekly design meetings

* Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met

* Estimating for projects ranging in value from £200k to £3m

The ideal applicant will be Designer - Roofing & Cladding Systems with:

* Must have design experience within the UK construction market sector

* Ideally will have experience dealing with hot melt roofing, single-ply membranes, flat roofing, cladding, and rain screens

* Experienced user of AutoCAD / Revit

* Must have a good understanding of technical drawings

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* High levels of organisation and attention to detail

* Enthusiastic, team play, who works well individually also
