Wiring and assembly of machinery including Control panel wiring and mechanical assembly/fitting.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

* To undertake the assembly and manufacture parts & assemblies to the point where they are complete machines and ready for test.

Tasks to be undertaken:

* Control Panel Assembly and Wiring.

* Mechanical fitting and assembly of parts, sub-assemblies and finished machine

* Finishing and Packaging of finished machines

* Wiring of chamber

* Testing of chamber using instructions provided.

* Self inspection of finished items using laid down methodology.

* Improve assembly methods and practices to reduce costs and minimise waste.

* Ensure quality work produced to minimise non-conformities.

* Ensure provided Work Instructions and methods are adhered to the letter.

* Ensure tidiness, cleanliness and standards of 'housekeeping' in own work area and throughout the workshop

* Training of other employees as required.

* Picking and packing of Spares Orders.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

* Competence in undertaking general electro mechanical assembly or finishing operations.

* Competence in wiring control panel installations in accordance with best practice standards.

* Competence in pneumatic installations in accordance with best practice standards (but training can be given in this area).

* Competent mechanical fitting skills.

* As defined by any future skills matrix that is both reasonable and achievable.

* Fork truck Licence would be an advantage but not necessary.

* Manual handling ability will be required
