Public Sector Partnership Services are looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to lead the Business Partner Team for one of our Client Councils!

We are offering a salary of 55k + annual performance related bonus of £3,000 + Medicash Health Care Plan

This is an excellent opportunity for a CCAB qualified accountant to join us in providing management and technical accounting services to District and Borough Councils within the South East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership. This role offers great personal development and career progression with exposure to a variety of public sector services and innovative transformation projects.

Working with other Strategic Finance Managers this is a chance to develop your reporting, decision-making and technical accounting skills and to provide consistent and efficient analysis of financial management data to our client councils.

You will manage and support the Business Partner Team in the setting of annual budgets for a diverse range of public sector services, reporting financial performance and support the technical team on completion of the final accounts. Working with your team you will provide support to budget managers and prepare reports to update stakeholders on the financial performance of the organisation.

You will be:

* A critical friend - providing insight and guidance to you colleagues and clients, ensuring plans, budgets, forecasts align to strategic objectives.

* Analytical - identifying and developing new opportunities and balancing risk through analysis of management information data.

* A people person - a collaborator, interested in developing the skills of colleagues and explaining and listening to clients to improve understanding of data.

Our Financial Services Department also provide client councils with products and solutions for making payments to its business partners and suppliers as well as delivering and maintaining several complex financial systems that are key to the day to day running's of our high quality end to end financial management.

What we need from you:

* Fully CIPFA/CIMA/ACCA qualified

* Experienced in public sector finance

* Ability to lead and motivate a team as well as manage workloads within tight timescales.
