About the role: SEN Teaching Assistant: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our students' academic and social development. Your primary responsibilities will include working closely with children who have ASD and other complex needs, helping to deliver a broad, balanced, and challenging curriculum that meets the unique needs of each child.

The school caters to primary-aged pupils with moderate learning difficulties, complex needs, and autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). • Experience of working with children with a range of SEN, including ASD.
• A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable.

• A full-time commitment is essential, as continuity is key for our students' development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support: Work with students individually and in small groups to ensure they receive the tailored support they need.
• Assist with classroom activities: Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and manage classroom dynamics.
• Support social and emotional development: Help students develop social skills and emotional regulation strategies through positive reinforcement and guidance.
• Facilitate inclusive learning: Promote an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates diversity, fostering a sense of belonging for all students.
• Monitor progress: Track and report on the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
