Location: St Ives

Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

Salary: Up to £40,000 pa DOE

Who are we?

We are Busy Bee Recruitment, an award-winning recruitment agency supplying both temporary and permanent staffing solutions throughout the UK to our client base spanning multiple sectors including Sales, Marketing, Industrial, Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, Accountancy, Administration & Executive Search.

Job Duties:

* Running weekly payroll and handling monthly returns

* Managing deposits and making sure all is reconciled and accounted for

* Posting and reconciling multiple bank accounts

* Processing sales and purchase invoices

* Keeping aged debtor reports up to date and sending out statements on time

* Following up on outstanding payments and sorting out any issues with clients

* Handling VAT returns — from reconciling to submitting

* Preparing clear reports comparing actual results to budgets

* Posting journals and reconciling balance sheets at month-end

* Assisting with the year-end audit process

What we are looking for:

* The right candidate will come from industry accounts

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Word.

* Experience using Sage50

* Fully qualified or part-qualified (finalist level) accountant with relevant technical knowledge.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

* Ability to prioritise workload, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines independently.
