Salary: Up to £13 per hour

The Role:

As part of the RISC team you will be responsible for carrying out an array of technical activities in relation to proactive works on the wastewater network across the Anglian Water region.

Here are just some of the duties you'll be involved with:

  • Clearing blockages in transferred and public sewers
  • Serviceability and structural investigations using CCTV equipment
  • Recommendation and installation of level monitors in manholes
  • Identifying and suggesting repairs in line with project objectives
  • Customer interactions on public and private properties
  • Reporting using a number of digital platforms, namely the Network Intelligence tool.
  • Undertake activities in order to minimise disruption to local residents and meet the contract KPIs, as well as meeting client specific requirements.
  • Compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental and Fleet policies, procedures and standards

We'd love to hear from you if have the following experience and qualifications...

You will need a valid CSCS card or equivalent, as well as a National Water Hygiene card and Confined Space certification. A NRSWA qualification and Manual Handling training are also required. Experience in the water and waste industry is highly desirable.

Additionally, you must possess a full UK driver's licence, basic IT skills, and the ability to work independently when necessary, using your initiative. Above all, excellent customer service and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
