Quattro Resourcing have current vacancies for Delivery Drivers for full-time vacancies based in Papworth Everard, Cambridgeshire.
Position: Delivery Driver
Location: Papworth Everard, Cambridgeshire
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Including Saturdays)
Working Hours: 04:00 to finish
Weekends: Yes
We're interested in experienced multi-drop delivery drivers who have previous experience in the field.
If you hold a valid HGV licence (HGV 2) with an in-date tacho and CPC card, this will reflect in your hourly rate as per below;
* Van Drivers £12.00ph
* 7.5t £13.50ph
* HGV 2 Drivers £15.50ph
Should you hold a HGV licence, you will still be required to drive the small vehicles although you will continue to be paid at the the rates in-line with the category of licence you hold.
Duties:
* Safely operate delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
* Transport goods and materials from one location to another.
* Load and unload stock using appropriate equipment.
* Plan routes and follow delivery schedules.
* Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately and timely.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Qualifications:
* Valid Cat B, C1 or C license with no more than 6 points or previous serious endorsements.
* Proven experience as a multi drop delivery driver.
* Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
* Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
Additional Skills:
* Experience with refrigerated vehicles preferred but not essential.
