CNC Turner - Programmers & Setters welcome to apply.

Contek are working with a client in Stockport who are looking for a CNC Turner to join their extensive team of engineers. This company have been in business for years, and due to recent requirements they are looking for a CNC Turner to join their team to assist with production.

This post is open to either Programmers, or Setter/Operators depending on what skillset you have.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Requirements:

* Programming CNC Lathes using online or offline programming software. (open to packages used)

* Competency working to drawings on a low volume basis.

* Experience working with a variety of industries.

* Working knowledge of machining to very tight tolerances.

* Able to advise on programming, best methods of machining and make executive decisions on programming routes.

Desired:

* Experience working with offline programming packages (all software welcome).

* Apprenticeship served or a solid foundation in engineering.

* Experience in a lead programmer role or similar where you are able to advise on machining methods to setters on the shop floor.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday
08:00 - 16:30

Friday
08:00 - 14:00
