Position: Senior Site Manager

Salary: >€65k DOE

Location: Dublin/ Newry

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our client who specialise in the interior fitout industry across the UK and Ireland. You will need to have experience working on project values from €10k - €3m across retail and commercial fitout with some residential apartments.

Senior Site Manager will need to:

• Manage direct labour and sub-contractors
• Be responsible for Health and safety on site including site paperwork/ site administration
• Material orders
• Attend Site meetings
• Programme management
• Site reporting
• Setting out
• You will also co-ordinate all aspects of the works so that the fit-out project is completed safely in line with the clients' requirements

• You will be responsible for and manage all site activities on commercial and retail fit out projects.

The Following qualities/experience for the Senior Site Manager are essential:

• Have a good understanding of H&S and to be able to apply all H&S requirements.
• Have a commercial approach to site management, to be able to identify cost savings and understands budget issues.
• Setting out and co-ordination
• CSCS card/ Safe Pass
• Basic IT Skills to enable flow of information between those involved in the project, particularly Microsoft Outlook
• People management skills, to be able to instruct staff, deal with difficult staffing situations
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Driven by results with a strong desire to succeed
• Strong written and communication skills
• Proven track record of managing fit-out projects
• Team Leader
• Excellent attention to detail
• Travel throughout Ireland will be required for this role

Desirable for the Senior Site Manager:

• Qualified trades person with a proven track record for quality
• 5+ years' experience at Site Management working for a fit-out contractor (retail experience advantageous)
• Qualified first aider
• Fire Warden
• Construction Management HND/Degree or equivalent advantageous
• Relevant H&S qualification
