Contracts Manager - Construction

Location: Edinburgh / Glasgow
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Exceptional Package + Car Allowance / Company Car

First People Solutions are delighted to be working with a leading construction contractor in Scotland to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and growing company, managing multiple high-value projects across the Central Belt.

The Role:

As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing 3-5 contracts simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of a variety of commercial, residential, and public sector projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing multiple construction contracts across Edinburgh & Glasgow
Ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget
Leading and mentoring project teams, site managers, and subcontractors
Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
Driving health & safety, quality, and compliance standards across all sites
Overseeing contract administration, cost control, and reporting

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry
Strong background in managing build projects up to £5million
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to juggle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Scottish building regulations and construction contracts
Full UK driving license
