Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Assistant based within Edinburgh, EH16

It would be beneficial to the role and department if the individual had previous experience of building service systems, technical services provision and general maintenance

Available shifts / Locations below:

* Monday to Friday ( 5 Days a week)- This is a full time position

* Postcode: EH16 4SA

* £15.00- £16.81 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue

* Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.

* This position is PAYE

Skills and Qualifications required:

* Must have at least 5 years previous experience

* Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy

* Able to manage time effectively.

* Ability to work both alone and in a team.

* Awareness of health and safety procedures

* A good standard of Secondary Education, including Maths and English

Duties and experience required:

* To undertake General Maintenance, Planned and Reactive Maintenance within your skillset

* Assist other skilled trades in carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, inspection and installation work.

* Where instructed, carry out minor repairs to the building fabric to ensure the safety and security of the client's premises, staff and visitors

* Respond in a safe manner to the effects of bad weather, e.g. Snow clearing, gritting, flooding, high winds, etc
