The Basics:

Role: Quality Inspector

Location: Brentwood

Shift: Monday-Thursday 7.30pm to 4.30am and Friday 2.30pm- 7.30pm

Salary: £23.71 per hour/£48091 per annum + Overtime available

Overtime: Paid at x1.5 Mon-Sat and double on Sundays

Holidays: 25 + 8 Bank Holidays, after 5 years increases by an extra days holiday each year up to 4 additional days. (29 days)

Pension: 5% employee and 3 % employer

Overview:

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to inspect machined and fabricated components with hand help measuring tools associated within a precision engineering environment.

Working in a modern purpose-built manufacturing facility for a high-end precision engineering business.

The ideal candidate / Quality inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Time Served Apprenticeship - beneficial
Competent at reading engineering drawings
Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing using hand held measuring tools such as Verniers, calipers etc.Commutable from: Basildon, Chelmsford, Brentford, Rayleigh and surrounding areas
