Field Service Engineer | Rotherham | Monday to Friday | Overtime | From £50,000.00 per year

Our client was founded over 35 years ago. Starting with just 1 machine, the family-run plant firm now has over 450 in the fleet. Based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire and housed on an 11-acre site, employing over 150 staff, which includes call handlers, fitters, wagon drivers and operators.

You will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services on various equipment and machinery at customer sites.

Are you the right person for the job?

Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
Full UK driving licence
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
What will your role look like?

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
Diagnose technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
Install new equipment and ensure proper functionality
Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance procedures
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
