HGV Technician, Crawley - UP TO £60,000 OTE, DOE**

I am looking for a skilled and qualified HGV Technician, in Crawley to join a growing client. The successful HGV Technician will be completing the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a variety of heavy goods vehicles in the Crawley and West Sussex area. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and dedication to providing high-quality service as a HGV Technician

Duties:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs to ensure they are in optimal condition.
Diagnose and rectify faults, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
Conduct safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT tests.
Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues and perform corrective actions.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and service needs.
Provide accurate estimates and keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicles.
Deliver high-quality customer service to maintain and enhance client relationships.
Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used and time spent on each task.
Ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with company procedures.
Use computerised systems for job logging and parts ordering.
Work with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient workshop operations.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Engage in ongoing training to keep up with new technologies and repair techniques.
Attend manufacturer training sessions as required.
Stay updated with industry standards and best practices.Requirements:

Automotive/HGV qualifications are essential.
Valid HGV license is required.
Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role.
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to use diagnostic equipment.
Excellent mechanical and technical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities.
Good communication skills.Benefits:
