Staff Nurse - RGN/RMN

Day Shifts, 36 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £22

Our client's nursing home is nestled along the beautiful Dorset coast and offers a serene and luxurious environment for nursing, dementia, and residential care.

They are now looking for a Registered Nurse to join their nursing team. In this role, you will work collaboratively to deliver exceptional nursing care, ensuring residents' personal care needs are met with dignity, respect, and support for their independence. The Registered Nurse will assist with both clinical care and day-to-day activities, contributing to a nurturing environment for all residents.

Requirements:
  • Current RGN (Registered General Nurse - Adult) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) certification
  • Experience in nursing homes or similar elderly care settings (desirable)
  • Understanding of dementia care and its specific challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in stressful situations
  • Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care in collaboration with other practitioners
  • Support the personal care needs of residents, respecting their dignity and promoting independence
  • Participate actively in the general day-to-day activities of the home
  • Maintain a safe, supportive environment, consistently meeting the quality standards set by the home
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to ensure all care needs are met
  • Adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies to maintain quality and compliance
