Field Service Engineer - Chromatography

Salary: £40k - £50k

Location: Midlands & North

With exclusive partnerships with some of the most well-known OEM's as well as valued clients consisting of multinational pharmaceutical & Biotech companies across the UK and Europe, this would be a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to be in a senior position with broad responsibilities and further OEM training.

In this Field Service Engineer position, an engineer can expect:

Full-service support on a range of analytical instruments including UHPLC, HPLC, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, UV-VIS from various manufacturers
Diagnosing and resolving issues related to product performance.
Performing service, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
Calibrating customer equipment in accordance with specified standards.
Proactively engage with customers to build relationships and improve service
Providing remote technical support to customers.
Complete accurate supporting documentation.
OEM training and skills development.

A suitable candidate for this Chromatography service engineer position would need:

Minimum of HNC or degree level of education In an engineering or science based discipline
Significant experience working with Chromatography equipment in a field or labs-based role. UHPLC, HPLC, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, UV-VIS.
Significant experience with Gas chromatography
Gas generator experience (desirable)
Full UK right to work and UK driving License.
Knowledge of labs-based software and applications
Motivated and eager to learn.
