Production OperativeGrantham, Temporary to Permanent (6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm shifts, rotating weekly)£13.45ph
Our long standing client is seeking a professional and experienced Production Operative to join their busy and expanding team. This is a full time temporary to permanent position based in Grantham.
The Role As a Warehouse & Production Operative your duties will include:
- Handling and racking goods as well as labelling and storing.
- Housekeeping - ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy, reporting damages.
- Goods-in - Inspecting incoming materials and reconcile against purchase orders, checking for damages.
- Goods-out - Picking items from the warehouse, packing accurately against delivery note.
- Operating cutting machinery to cut materials to size.
The Ideal Candidate The successful Production Operative will:
- Have experience using Cutting Machinery, tooling or working in an engineering environment.
- Have a valid UK Driving Licence (Ideal but not essential).
- Have a Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Ideal but not essential).
- Be a team player, with excellent work ethic and an a good sense of humour.
