Early Years Teacher (Maternity Cover)

* Contract Type: Maternity Cover (15th April - July, with possible extension to December)

* Salary: Paid to scale

* Start Date: Monday, 21st April 2025

Are you an Early Years teacher looking for a rewarding role in Bristol? A fantastic primary school with a real community feel is looking for a dedicated teacher to cover Reception from mid-April until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue until December 2025.

The Role:

As an Early Years Teacher, you will:

* Create an exciting and interactive learning space that encourages curiosity and independence

* Deliver engaging and creative lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, and social development

* Work closely with support staff and parents, building strong relationships to support each child's learning journey

* Use play-based learning to nurture confidence, imagination, and a love for school

What We're Looking For:

* A qualified teacher (QTS or EYTS) with experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

* A teacher who understands the EYFS framework and the importance of learning through play

* Someone who is passionate, patient, and able to bring energy and fun into the classroom

* A team player who thrives in a collaborative, friendly school environment
