Are you an experienced electrical-biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer or Technician, looking for a well-paid permanent role with a household name in the FMCG sector?The role offers excellent benefits, job security, career progression, and has great case studies of staff who have moved into senior managerial roles from this position. The position will include planned and reactive maintenance plus fault diagnosis in a fast-paced environment. The role will focus on fault diagnosis and repair work, working as part of a team on a shift basis.

The role:

• Undertaking planned preventative maintenance on plant/ manufacturing equipment.
• Fault finding on both mechanical and electrical machinery
• Carrying out risk assessments for works and ensuring H&S guidelines are adhered to.
• Shift: 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 10:00 pm - 06:00 am

The person:

• Dual-skilled mechanical/Electrical
• Working experience in a multi-skilled maintenance position
• Experience working on drive train systems, rollers, gearboxes, shafts, pneumatics, and some hydraulics.

• Knowledge of PLC electronics is desired
• Be able to fault find on single and three-phase systems, servo motors and AC motors, sensors, and various control systems.
