At Leader Education, we are seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support children within a mainstream primary school based in Whitley Bay, Northumberland. The ideal Teaching Assistant will have had previous experience working with young people as well as a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential.

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30 until 15:30.

The successful Candidate will:

• Candidates will need an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one
• Experience working within an Early Years setting
• Creativity and a passion for Early Years
• Support the development of social and emotional skills
• Have a passion for teaching and learning with the ability to make learning enjoyable and fun
• Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative working
