We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Coordinator to join a leading multinational transport business. This role is office-based and requires a dedicated individual who can manage orders, deliver excellent customer service, and liaise effectively with both internal and external customers.

• Manage and track a team of drivers to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Assist drivers in resolving on-road issues and manage third-party suppliers.
• Act as the key interface between the daily operation, drivers, and customers, maintaining high levels of customer service.
• Plan orders according to customer requirements, often with short notice.
• Utilise our bespoke Transport Management System (TMS) to process, arrange, and send routes to drivers.
• Perform operational administration as required.
• Contact customers to book in collections and deliveries.
• Carry out any other duties as requested.

• Experience in an operational role within logistics or haulage (e.g., Logistics Operative, Traffic Controller, Transport Planner).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Confident and professional telephone manner.
• Ability to build positive working relationships and prioritise tasks efficiently.
