The Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with various special educational needs, both in and outside the classroom. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about making a real difference in the lives of young learners within a thriving SEN college in Kingston.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students with SEN in their learning and development.
Assist with the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons.
Provide one-on-one and small group support tailored to individual needs.
Help students with personal care and mobility as required.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor student progress.
Encourage positive behavior and social interaction within the school environment.
Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all students.About You:

Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with special educational needs, is preferred but not essential.
Live within a commutable distance to Kingston
A caring and empathetic nature with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, flexible, and committed to supporting the needs of students.
A positive approach to learning and a passion for working with young people.
A relevant qualification (e.g., Teaching Assistant, SEN or Childcare related) is desirable but not essential.Why Work With Us?
