Are you an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior / Assistant Accountant looking to join a modern, forward-thinking accountancy practice where your career can truly thrive?
TPF Recruitment is working with a highly successful and fast-growing accountancy firm in Sutton, part of a wider UK & Ireland network, to recruit an Accounts Semi-Senior. As part of a talented and growing team, you’ll support a diverse portfolio of SME clients and gain broad exposure across accounts, tax, and audit, all while progressing your career within a firm that invests in its people.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Assisting with corporation tax and VAT returns
- Supporting the production of management accounts and financial statements
- Contributing to audit planning and fieldwork alongside senior team members
- Building relationships with clients and delivering top-tier service and advice
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Continuously developing your professional knowledge and technical skills
Requirements What We’re Looking For:
- AAT qualified, part-qualified ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience
- Strong background in accounts preparation within an accountancy practice
- A confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Xero, Sage, etc.)
- A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude and an eye for detail
