Credit Controller

£34,000 - £37,000 + 10% bonus

Nr Bond Street, London - Hybrid working 3 days office / 2 days home

An exciting opportunity to join a prestigious company as a Credit Controller, part of a London team of 10.

• You will be responsible for a high value ledger dealing with luxury brands and high net worth individuals.
• Responsible for Credit Control and Cash Application duties and be working to KPI’s
• Managing a multicurrency ledger of 20 -50million monthly
• Responsible for chasing customers for outstanding debts
• Reconciling accounts
• Ensuring queries are resolved for key high value level client accounts
• Allocation of multicurrency payments received
• Escalating issues relating to potential bad debts to the Credit Manager
• Liaising with clients and following up on actions taken
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients
• Investigate, manage and resolve all disputes quickly and efficiently
• Attending client meetings to discuss any finance questions or queries when necessary
• Agreeing payment and repayment plans with customers when needed and/or initiating legal proceedings
• Ensuring compliance with the company credit policy, business processes and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Assist with generating reports for cash collection and identifying problem areas
• Identifying and recommending opportunities for process improvement
• Preparing daily and ad-hoc reporting for management at month end and as requested

Requirements

• 3-5years Credit Control experience as a minimum
• Experience of dealing with high values or high net worth accounts
• Self-motivated and driven to hit KPI’s
• Demonstrate intermediate Excel and strong analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Prior experience with SAP or similar accounting software is highly beneficial
