Description

• Overseeing the financial management and budgeting of the organisation.
• Financial Controller responsibilities
• Ensuring financial compliance and risk management.
• Liaising with stakeholders and other departments to ensure financial transparency.
• Preparing financial reports and statements for board meetings.
• Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
• Providing financial analysis and forecasting to guide decision-making.
• Mentoring and developing team members - you will have 3 direct reports
• Supporting with onboarding a new external auditor

Profile

A successful applicant will:

• Be a Qualfied Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and uplifting a finance team.
• Be able to bring on a new external auditor
• Have strong technical abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Have extensive charity experience at the Head of Finance level
