An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join the leadership team at a large, successful secondary school in Watford. Role: Finance Manager
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the school's financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Ensure financial compliance with statutory regulations and maintain high standards of financial accuracy and integrity
Lead the finance team, providing guidance, support, and training to finance assistants
Prepare and present financial reports to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and governing body
Manage relationships with external auditors, suppliers, and stakeholdersRequirements:

Qualified accountant (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent finance qualification
Proven experience in finance management, preferably in an educational setting
Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
Proficiency in financial software and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
