SUMMARY
Reporting to the EU Sales Manager the role is responsible for entering and replying to quotations and entering German orders onto the SAP system and supporting Demand Planning updates. This role must ensure customer and Timet's orders are in line with the PCC SOX compliance along with the Timet OVS process.

Essential Functions:
• Responsible for the Customer service matrix:
o Responsible for the management of open quotes log to monitor activity
o Must understand TOC daily sales targets set by the business
o Update and distribute daily UK TOC report
o Update and distribute daily pipelines
• Will update live quote register with any feedback information from customers
• This role will support reporting across Europe for TIMET UK, TIMET Savoie and gather input from Ops, Finance, Sales and Finance to support all aspects of product management.
• To amend and administrate annual pricing agreements and TIMET price lists across Europe for TIMET UK, Savoie.
• To liaise with Ops, Finance and commercial on cost saving initiatives like Rolls-Royce DFX events.
• Produce Marketing and commercial presentations using market and internal data.
• Daily checks for UK RFQ's on the PCC RFQ tool
• Support the UK Product Management team on all aspects of product management role , including updating the DP file and gathering input from others within the team as required.
• Work with customer and internal finance to ensure payments are getting issued on time. Follow up with customer and report out results.
• Responsible for calculating weight/prices and entering SAP quotaions and monitoring Customer quotations through SAP and orders, obtaining technical assistance if required. General quotations that do not require technical assistance to be answered within 24 hours.
• Ownership of quote activity with quotes reviewed, obtaining feedback from customers regarding competition prices, lead times and also enquiry status. Will assign lost quotes specific reasons for non-conversion to order from information provided.
• Work closely with external sales with regard to material availability/inventory.
• Will provide customers full support (via emails, phone calls) for all inquiries and be able to follow up promptly.
• Will be working closely with various departments including: procurement, production, engineering, quality, finance.
• Work with the main plants and service Centre's on Excess & Obsolete (E&O) reduction - attending meetings when required.
• Responsible for completing order verification sheets.
• Will raise complaints credits/debits when required.
• Progress chasing where required by customers.
• Will be responsible for German Sales Order Entry, Acknowledging and amending as required.

Education/ Qualification/ Knowledge:

• A-Level or Equivalent in relevant subject desirable.
• Will have strong computer skills, including all MS Office applications, and preferably SAP applications.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• German Speaking preferrable.

Experience Required:

• Will have worked in a customer facing role.
• Will have worked in an administration role.
• Will have experience of handling multiple tasks concurrently and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
• Will have high attention to detail to be able to translate customer requirements into relatively complex order instructions for the manufacturing plant.
• Will be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively organise and track open quotes, including direct customer call back and gathering relevant feedback on quotations
