•Design Functional Solutions: Solve engineering problems with innovative, practical designs.
•Full Design Lifecycle: Manage designs from initial concept and detailed specification through to the final working packs for the build team.
•Technical Drawings: Create accurate part and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
•Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards, including UKCA, CE, and Machinery Directive requirements.
•Mechanical Specifications: Develop comprehensive mechanical specifications for production equipment.   Trainee Mechanical Design EngineerEssential Skills & Experience:
•Engineering Knowledge: Practical experience or strong knowledge of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.
•CAD Expertise: Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
•Manufacturing Awareness: Understanding of traditional manufacturing processes like milling, turning, grinding, and fabrication.
•Education: NVQ/HND/BTEC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
•Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•Problem Solver: A creative, solutions-driven approach to solving complex engineering challenges
•Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Flexible & Adaptable: Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt within a dynamic work environment.
