Class Teacher (ongoing general supply cover) - Salary: £140 per day

- Job Type: 3 to 5 days per week
We are seeking to appoint outstanding and energetic Class Teachers with a specialism ideally in English or Maths, to join our team at a new satellite provision in Brighton. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing PPA, meetings, break and sickness cover.
Day to Day of the role: - Deliver high-quality English & Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 & 4 pupils, preparing them for GCSE and Functional Skills assessments.
- Develop and implement individualised education plans to meet the specific needs of each pupil.
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports pupils’ emotional and academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the overall development of pupils.
- Contribute to the school’s ethos of high expectations and a climate of possibility, ensuring each child is well-prepared for their post-16 journey.
- Coordinate work experience opportunities for pupils, enhancing their employability and practical skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
- Experience in delivering English or Maths at GCSE and Functional Skills level.
- Understanding of the strategies required to manage complex behaviours effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
