The Role

As an Associate Building Services Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take the lead in managing and coordinating innovative mechanical engineering solutions for prestigious projects across the globe. You'll be at the forefront of groundbreaking design, ensuring seamless integration of building services with architectural vision. With your expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills, you'll drive sustainable, future-ready solutions that set new industry benchmarks.

What You'll Be Doing

* Represent the client with professionalism, innovation, and excellence.

* Provide technical leadership and expertise in mechanical building services.

* Lead the design process, ensuring full coordination of all building services engineering activities.

* Oversee project stages from concept to post-construction, delivering outstanding results.

* Manage and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.

* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices.

* Drive innovation in mechanical design, championing sustainability and efficiency.

* Support senior leadership in shaping strategic initiatives and project execution.

What You Bring

* Ideally, chartered engineer status.

* Deep expertise in mechanical engineering and building services design.

* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant design software.

* Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

* A track record of delivering high-profile projects on time and within budget.

* Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for pushing boundaries in engineering.

Bonus Points If You Have…

* International project experience.

* BIM project delivery expertise.

* LEED, BREEAM, or WELL sustainability certifications.

* Knowledge of ASHRAE design standards and sustainable MEP principles.

* Familiarity with IES and Adobe Creative Suite for advanced design analysis.
