A dedicated and passionate Sports Coach is sought to join a thriving secondary school community in Wolverhampton. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop the physical and mental well-being of students through sports and physical education.
 
As a Sports Coach will be responsible for supporting and helping to deliver engaging and effective sports lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities and interests. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing comprehensive coaching programmes for various sports.
Encouraging students to participate in extracurricular sports activities and school teams.
Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Fostering a positive and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, fair play, and personal growth.
Collaborating with other staff members to organise school sports events, competitions, and trips.
Maintaining equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
Staying updated with the latest coaching techniques and sports education trends. 
The ideal candidate will possess:

A recognised coaching qualification or degree (2:2 or above) in one or more sports.
Experience working with young people in an educational or sports setting.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Enthusiasm, patience, and the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
