Compliance Officer - Mechanical & Electrical

What you'll do:

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

* Conduct audits, risk assessments, and inspections across all projects.

* Develop, implement, and review company policies and procedures.

* Stay up-to-date with industry standards and legislation, ensuring documentation is current.

* Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance and safety practices.

* Proactively address compliance-related issues with internal teams.

* Investigate and report accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences, implementing corrective actions.

* Review and audit subcontractors to ensure standards are maintained.

* Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure continuous compliance.

What we're looking for:

* Proven experience in a compliance, health & safety, or regulatory role, ideally within a construction environment.

* NEBOSH Certification is a must.

* Experience managing internal audits, risk assessments, and implementing control measures.

* In-depth knowledge of compliance standards, including HSE regulations and quality assurance.

* Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.

* Effective written and verbal communication skills.

* A proactive approach and a desire to make a difference in your role.

This position is based at our office in Redhill, with working hours of Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
