Testing and Cutover Manager
Location: North East or South East
Contract: 6 month FTC
My client, a leading organisation undergoing significant structural change, is seeking a talented Testing and Cutover Manager to oversee key IT separation activities linked to a business acquisition and transition program.

Role Overview

This critical position focuses on managing IT testing and cutover processes, ensuring smooth systems transitions while adhering to regulatory and governance standards. The successful candidate will report into the broader separation program and play a key role in delivering operational success in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive testing and cutover strategies and plans.
Coordinate data migration, system configuration, and infrastructure readiness activities.
Manage testing cycles, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Ensure timely resolution of issues, risks, and defects within agreed service levels.
Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and milestones.
Maintain compliance with governance frameworks and security protocols throughout.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven expertise in managing testing and cutover processes.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Proficiency in Office 365 tools, including MS Project.
ITIL certification or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience in managing technical transitions in a business separation context (desirable).
