Biology A-Level Teacher Position in Brighton College 

Type: Full-time - September Start 

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience 

Key Responsibilities: 

Deliver engaging and comprehensive Biology lessons at A-Level standard, catering to class sizes ranging from 16 to 24 students. 

Facilitate student learning through innovative teaching methods, practical experiments, and interactive discussions. 

Ensure curriculum coverage and academic progress in line with exam board requirements. 

Provide pastoral support to students and contribute to the wider college community. 

Some PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time required. 

Requirements: 

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Biology at A-Level. 

Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with relevant exam specifications. 

Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a passion for Biology. 

Effective classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
