Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the management and administration of construction works in line with council contracts.
Implementing construction phase plans, ensuring compliance with quality plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
Monitoring site operations, ensuring health and safety adherence, and conducting regular checks.
Liaising with contractors regarding network occupancy conditions and temporary traffic management.
Recording all works performed and issuing necessary instructions to contractors.
Managing measurements and identifying snagging and defects for correction within the agreed period.
Collaborating with engineering staff to maintain high professional technical standards.
Assisting in the planning, programming, and delivery of assigned projects.

Job Requirements:

Experience in supervising highway and traffic management works.
Working knowledge of traffic management and public safety legislation, along with statutory duties and practices.
Detailed technical expertise in the implementation and supervision of traffic engineering schemes.
Familiarity with construction phase plans and quality assurance methods.
Strong communication skills for liaising with contractors and stakeholders.
Ability to monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site
