About the Role
As our new Chief Executive you'll be responsible for the transformation of our services, work that will involve giving more power and resources to local communities. This is a vitally important agenda, and to be successful it will be your job to help us become more financially self-sufficient, keep costs down and inspire our teams to adapt and innovate as we deliver the best services.

This won't be an easy task as there will be hard choices to be made. But it will be an exciting and fulling journey, and the prize will be creative, diverse and vibrant neighbourhoods where everyone can achieve their dreams, and a socially, environmentally and economically sustainable borough where no one is held back.

About you
With a strong public service ethos and plenty of relevant experience, you'll be an inspirational and motivating leader, and passionate about helping us achieve our ambition of being a destination borough for the 21st century. With the skills and vision to help us develop our strategic direction and deliver strong, confident growth to our borough, you'll be committed to prioritising sustainability, innovation and creativity.
