Job Purpose:

To use your knowledge and skills to deliver a first class service to our clients and provide accounts and audit support to a busy accountancy practice.

Duties:

* Oversee client bookkeeping

* Manage a portfolio of clients

* Preparation of complex company financial statements & management accounts

* Preparation of personal tax returns & VAT returns

* Preparation of partnership accounts and returns

* VAT Registration and Deregistration

* Forecasts and business projections

* Attend client meetings and interact with directors and business owners

* Set and work to budgets to meet monthly forecasts

Skills and Experience:

* 5 years working in an accountancy practice environment.

* Excellent experience of Sage 50, Xero, Quickbooks, Iris, Excel (essential)

* Strong Attention to Detail

* Excellent Time Management Skills & Communication

* Good written and technical Skills

Qualifications:

Qualified by experience or part qualified ACA/ACCA.
