What You'll Be Doing: Join our team as a Locum Independent Prescribing Pharmacist and play a key role in improving patient care within a GP Surgery/PCN. In this role, you will:
- Perform comprehensive medication reviews and patient assessments
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web
- Provide expert guidance on pharmaceutical care and treatment
Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Independent Prescribing Qualification
- A Digital Badge and access to EMIS Web on your PC/Laptop at home (non-negotiable)
- Experience working in a GP Surgery/PCN environment (preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration: This is a full remote role, offering regular Monday shifts from 10am - 2pm (4 hours). There may also be occasional Friday shifts, although these are not mandatory. The position starts ASAP and is ongoing.
