An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Validation & Verification Manager based in Hatfield.

Role:

The successful candidate will lead the V&V management activities across signalling project portfolios.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Take part in major deployment project by leading, organising and performing verification, integration and test activities
Create and maintain projects in the approved V&V management tools
Produce verification and validation reports in support of gate reviews and commissioning
Ensure the application and adherence to internal processes and applicable norms, methods & tools, requesting deviations whenever appropriateEssential Requirements:

Degree or equivalent in Engineering qualification
Good analytical skills
Experience applying RSSB, Network Rail standards or equivalent rail infrastructure organisations
Experience Testing and Validation of safety critical systemsDesirable:

Knowledge of signalling design, installation, testing or safety assurance
Use of software database, such as DOORS/Regtify
