Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer based in Wakefield to recruit a Head of Production.

Salary: up to £70k

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Production to manage operational performance and lead a diverse team of Production & Shift managers.

Duties of the Head of Production include:

• Oversee and manage operational performance to meet or exceed targets for safety, cost, quality, and delivery
• Execute the factory production plan On Time to Standard
• Delivery of site plans within agreed cost budgets
• Monitor and improve effectiveness and efficiency of shop floor operations
• Manage, motivate, and coach a talented team to achieve optimal performance.

We would like to speak with Heads of Production/Senior Production Managers with the following:

• Degree educated in an engineering or manufacturing discipline would be ideal
• Formal safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH Certificate
• A team management qualification, e.g., ILM level 2/3
• Proven work experience as a Senior Manager leading a diverse team
