Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Residential Technical Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Coleshill. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction and project coordination, ensuring that our projects are executed to the highest standards.

Qualifications:

Architectural Technologist background.
BTEC HND/HNC in Design, Construction, or equivalent.
Extensive experience working in a technical role at a residential house builder or consultancy.
Good level of IT literacy with experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Proven ability in an Architectural Technologist role, delivering design for projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards with high customer satisfaction.
Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to multitask.
Commercially aware with the ability to make decisions within authority.
Capable of leading and working effectively as a team member.
Practical and methodical with strong analytical skills and the ability to suggest solutions to problems.
Strong mathematical ability.
Ability to design and interpret the designs and technical demands of others.
Professional aptitude and appearance at all times.
Strives for continuous improvement for the benefit of the company.
Driven to achieve customer satisfaction.
Able to work under pressure and accept honest feedback on one's work.
Good level of communication skills, necessary for liaising with internal staff and external bodies.
Willing to work extra to meet deadlines as business needs require it.

Negotiate effectively with a wide range of organisations, statutory bodies, and interest groups to achieve desired design outcomes.
Communicate effectively with all relevant departments in writing, verbally, and in presentation format to provide accurate and timely information.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments, local authorities, and companies throughout the region.
Undertake key aspects of the Principal Designer role as defined within the Construction Design & Management Regulation 2015.
Complete all necessary Health, Safety & Environmental documents, in line with group policy.
Coordinate consultants or personally produce house type working drawings and liaise with key suppliers for tender, construction, and sales packs.
Stay conversant with current building regulations, procedures, construction methods, materials costs, and market conditions related to company products.
Undertake value engineering assessments and ensure buildability.
Submit all information to NHBC and obtain necessary approvals, including SAP Assessments, PEAs, EPCs, and Robust Standard Details.
Attend regional sites to resolve technical and construction-related problems, detailing and monitoring acceptable solutions.
Attend and chair Pre-Start Meetings, briefing all departments on matters related to superstructures.
Manage the process of obtaining consultant fee proposals and formal appointment documents in accordance with group procedures.
Ensure the accuracy of information supplied by all departments to avoid discrepancies.
Provide information for Housing Association contracts and attend progress meetings.
Attend departmental meetings as required and ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed of key developments.
Read and observe the Company's health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
Report any accidents or near misses immediately to your Manager and record them in the accident book.
Maintain a tidy workplace, eliminating or reporting any hazards to your line manager.
Wear appropriate protective clothing on-site and attend all required health and safety training.
Coach and support team members as required.What We Offer:
